When we meet together at the Kings Centre (how to get here) on a Sunday morning, our focus is on making much of Jesus. From 10.00 am, tea, coffee and croissants (on us) are served in the Coffee Shop. After this, at 10.30, we gather in the main hall for contemporary worship, including prayer, contributions from the church family and sharing of bread and wine (Holy Communion). This is followed by a time of teaching from the Bible, during which our Sunday Tots, kids and youth groups will provide an exciting and engaging programme. Towards the end of our time together there is often an opportunity to ask for prayer. We generally finish around 12.00.
Our meetings are informal and relaxed, so please come as you are. Some people may sit, stand, raise their hands or kneel at various times; there is no set or expected behaviour so feel free to join in as much or as little as you like.
We love to welcome new people, so whether you are visiting, just moving to the area and looking for a church community to be part of, or searching for a meaning to life, we will be delighted to help you feel at home.
We realise that a first visit to a new place can feel a bit daunting, and we will do our best to make you feel at ease. Our welcome team will be on hand to answer any questions.
