At Teeny Tots, we look forward to welcoming you and your under-school-age ‘tots’ to a choice of three sessions on a Tuesday (10.00am-11.30am or 1.00pm-2.30pm) and Wednesday (10.00am-11.30am) during term time.
What happens at Teeny Tots?
Teeny Tots is a great opportunity for you and your young ones to get to know other parents/carers and toddlers in a friendly and supportive (if slightly noisy) environment. A large range of toys and games are available for you and your children to explore, and a craft table has new and exciting activities each week to help them extend their artistic talents (and maybe you might surprise yourself too!)
At the end of each session there is a five minute song time where everyone is encouraged to join in.
The Coffee Shop, just through the door from the Teeny Tots room, is open for drinks and snacks at a reasonable price throughout the session, so it’s really convenient to pop through with your child at any time for a quick break.
We are also delighted to have Tots’ Treasures, a place to buy affordable pre-loved tots’ clothes, open during every session; a great opportunity to pick up treasures for your treasures!
Who runs Teeny Tots?
We are proud to say that Teeny Tots is part of Kingsgate Community Church , so the people who run the group are Christians who are involved in the Kingsgate Community. Matthew Woollard Kingston is the group co-ordinator, and he is supported by a number of volunteers (DBS checked as appropriate); all of us are always happy to answer any questions you might have either about the group or about Kingsgate.
How much does it cost?
There is a small charge of £2.00 for the first child plus 25p for extra children in the same family for each session in order to make sure we can keep toys in good condition, replace craft materials and cover heating costs etc
