Julia is a Deacon here at Kingsgate and heads up our social action team. She is passionate about the church making a difference in its local community and coordinates our growing number of exciting community activities. She has previously worked across our Relational Mission family, encouraging churches in their community engagement activities through ‘Pathways from Poverty’ and has a significant experience in writing successful grant funding applications for both churches and charities.
She has been married to Graham for over 30 years and they have two lovely sons, both now in their 20’s and moving on with their lives. They live in Hopton with their very cute, but scruffy, Cockapoo Rosie.
Raised on a farm, Julia was driving a Land Rover before she was 13, but these days she prefers to spend her spare time chilling with her family and friends and enjoys a long soak in the bath to relax. Being a night owl, she would much rather work till 2am than have to be up much before 8am!
