Kingsgate Community Church is located in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth. Like many seaside towns in the UK, we have beautiful beaches squeezed up against areas of high deprivation. We have fabulous facilities which are used throughout the week for community engagement, church activities and conferencing.
We partner with Intentional Discipleship to recruit interns. You can find out more on their website.
“What could I get involved in?”
There would be many opportunities to serve in areas across church life, however we would like to focus the roles to two areas specifically:
Under 18’s
Come and help mobilise our various under 18 activities across our youth, kids’ and tots’ groups, whilst working alongside our Youth Worker – Melissa.
Get creative and help behind the scenes with day-to-day planning and preparation.
Bring added energy to our teams both on Sundays and at mid-week events.
Or
Community Life
Dedicate your time to actively responding to the need in our local community.
Join our Community Manager – Julia serving in the growing number of community engagement projects that are making a difference to the lives of people living in Great Yarmouth (be sure to check them all out on our Community page).
Come and bless the local community by demonstrating God’s heart for all those we meet.
“Will I get support?”
We will help to financially support your ID year.
We will have a staff member dedicated to supporting you.
We will help arrange your accommodation.
