Leadership Team
At Kingsgate we want to build church the way they did it in the Bible. In the New Testament there were two types of leadership within the church.
First, there were elders (also called pastors or overseers) – who took the ultimate responsibility for leading, teaching, caring for and protecting the church. Second, there were deacons - who worked alongside the elders to help them, by running and coordinating various aspects of church life.
You can find out more about elders and deacons and what the bible teaches about them on this page:
Elders and deacons – what are they and what do they do?
Because we are a registered charity, we also have trustees who are responsible for the charity’s legal, employment and policies. Finally, our staff team take care of the day-to-day running of the King’s Centre.
