In the Coffee Shop we love to serve freshly brewed quality coffee and tea in a friendly, relaxed environment from 8.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday.
But we don’t just serve lovely comforting warm drinks (though our lattes and cappuccinos are worth the visit on their own!) We challenge you to resist Richard’s legendary freshly baked cakes, not to mention the tempting selection of hot and cold dishes at great prices, including all day breakfasts, freshly cooked on the premises and always served with a smile (Menu)! With a daily special in addition to the everyday menu, there is something for everyone.
As a family-friendly venue, we have a soft area, high chairs and changing facilities to make life easier for those with young ones, as well as a more secluded area for discreet feeding if required and comfortable couches for that more relaxed morning coffee or afternoon tea time.
We are equally well equipped to cater for business breakfasts and meetings, with free wi-fi and power connections in a quieter area of the café, and a range of menus available for more formal business lunches.
“Love coming for Coffee every Friday. Fantastic service and always a smiley face.”
A Coffee Shop in the Community
As a Christian-run enterprise, not only do we use fair trade products and try to source as much of our produce locally as possible, we also seek to provide opportunities for training volunteers in hospitality, serving, cooking and barista; we like to think of the kitchen as a place for development as well as production.
In addition to ‘The Table’, other community groups, including ‘crafters’ and the ‘puzzle group’ can be found meeting in the coffee shop regularly, and during school holidays we host the Teeny Tots coffee morning on a Tuesday and Wednesday, for parents, carers and children of all ages.
Complementary Sunday Coffee
Why not pop in on a Sunday morning from 10.00, when we serve free coffee, tea and breakfast snacks before we meet as a church to worship together?
