Meet Melissa – Josh’s wife, Chester’s Mummy and Kingsgate Community Church’s Youth Worker. Other residents of Melissa’s family home are Louie, the very vocal cat, and Shelby, the minute tortoise (yes – during lockdown, Melissa did give in and allow Josh his lifelong dream of owning a tortoise).
You’ll rarely find Melissa alone – not just because she often has a toddler hanging off of her – but because she loves being with people! She is especially passionate about investing time in the youth of today, journeying with them, as they navigate our challenging world.
Whilst she loves socialising with others, be sure to pass “The Wilkes Family, Dietary Quiz” before inviting her, or any other member of her family, over for a shared meal (even the cat has a special diet!).
