I’m going to try and put out a video each Friday – this week we’re focussing on spiritual gifts, and in particular prophecy.
We want to encourage the church family to be asking for and making use of spiritual gifts just as much now as when we meet together in person.
One thing to add – over the last seven months following Ali’s death some of the prophetic encouragement that has helped me the most has simply been being reminded of what God has already said. Specific prophetic words that are custom made just for you can be wonderfully encouraging, and an incredible boost to our faith when God does bring them about – but for my own encouragement over this season I could hardly ask for more than the extraordinary hope that God gives us for our future with him, his extravagant love for us already revealed in the Bible and brought stunningly to light as the Holy Spirit helps us read and hear.
