Prayer Bulletin

I spoke last Friday about prayer for healing – how and why we pray for people to be healed. To help us do that better, Sue Martin is going to be starting a prayer bulletin about once a fortnight, with a list of those in the church who currently need prayer to be made well. We’ll be trialling it for 6 months to begin with. I’ve put together a short video with more information, or you can read more below.

If you want to receive the prayer list:

Get in touch with the church office – you can phone on 01493 442861, or email hello@wearekingsgate.org – and say you’d like your name added to get the prayer list when it comes out.

If you would like to add a prayer request to the list:

You can email prayer requests through on the email below – but before you do, please note that it’s requests for prayer for healing for people who are part of the church – in other words, those who are members, or who would be with us physically if we were able to meet.

We absolutely want to pray for healing for friends, neighbours and family, but can we encourage you to do so with friends from church, running partners, discipleship groups, or when we meet at other times. So as not to overwhelm either Sue or those praying, we’re going to keep this to those who are part of the church.

If you’re living outside of Great Yarmouth but joining our online meetings, then by all means send requests in if you would like prayer for healing yourself.

The email address is:

prayerlist@wearekingsgate.org

Last – if you’ve asked for prayer and there’s any change – whether you’ve gotten better or worse – could you please update us using the same email address so we can keep the list up to date.

God bless you, and we look forward to hearing many stories of healings!

Dan Jones
