Hello! I’ve had a bit of a rethink about this series – as we’ve been going along I’ve felt like this is a letter that really benefits from being read through in one go, rather than always breaking up into chunks – so I’m picking up from where I’d got to and reading through chapters 12 to 22 with a little bit of commentary as we go.
If you’ve missed any of the letter so far, you can go back to my previous posts where we read through chapters 1 to 11.
When you read it all in one go it really helps you to stop from getting sucked into all the tiny details and to see the bigger picture instead. I hope it encourages you – if you’d like a bit more insight into some of the imagery and references that come through, I would recommend Vern Poythress’ book ‘The Returning King’, and BibleProject have also put together 2 really helpful videos running through the letter – you can find them at this link:

God bless you!
