We are really excited to bring you details of our 2019 Kingsgate BIG Summer Party!
It’s on Saturday 6th July from 11am – 4pm here at Kingsgate, you can find a PDF copy of the brochure here
We will have games on the lawn
Vintage Games including: Coconut Shy, Hook a Duck, Skittles, Stand the Bottle & many more!
Photo Booth
Garden Games including: Quoits, Giant Connect 4, Swingball, Archery (child friendly — no pointy bits!) & Badminton.
Hay Bale Seating Area
Kids Summer Fun Trail
There is also a couple of indoor spaces: Chill Zone & Parent & Toddler Zone for anyone wanting to escape the hustle & bustle of the day for a few moments!
We are all enjoying a BBQ at 12:30pm (if you have any special dietary needs don’t worry! Just let us know when you book so we can cater for them) there will also be juice drink, tea & coffee available throughout the day.
At around 2:30pm we are having Wacky Races – think school sports day with a fun twist!
4 teams per race, 4 races,
… that’s up to 64 contestants
Including small summer Inflatables, cups of water & scuba diving gear!
We have made all of the activities pick up & play, please feel free to enjoy all of the games. Wacky Races teams booked on the day.
Do I need to book?
Yes please!
We want to make sure we have cooked the right number of burgers and no one goes hungry! It also helps keep us safely looking after everyone on the day.
Can I bring friends & family along?
Again, YES! We would love to welcome lots of your friends & family along, please add them to the booking list.
How do I book?
There is a sign up sheet on the welcome table on Sunday mornings and you can also add names by contacting the Kingsgate office during the week, either call them on 01493 442861 or email hello@wearekingsgate.org
Do I need to bring anything?
Everything is free so you can leave your money at home!
There are a couple of bits that might be worth thinking of though…
A blanket or chair (lets keep it comfy!) & please don’t forget the sun cream!
What happens if it’s bad weather?
Don’t worry! We all know the UK can sometimes surprise us with un-seasonal weather. So we have set the day up to relocate all of the games & races to our Main Hall if it is going to rain all day and we have our wonderful Coffee Shop facilities to enjoy our food indoors too.
